On the bank of the Bacchiglione a short distance from the town of Correzzola there is a small village where, starting from the 17th century, there was a small port called “pedocco”, that is, a checkpoint for the payment of the toll for boats loaded with goods that sailed the river to reach Chioggia. The river landing has been recently restored by the “Gruppo Remiero porto Pedocco”, the sports association is also at disposal offering excursions by kayak or on boats pushed with the ‘Voga alla Veneta’, that is with a particular rowing technique in feet forward with two crossed oars.
